PRIDE Foundation launched the PRIDE Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign held from 11th April to 2nd August 2008. This campaign aimed at educating women about breast cancer and advocating the fact that early detection saves lives, among the general population of Malaysians.
This campaign was broken into two days - an awareness talk with selected women organizations on Day One and a full day exhibition at a Giant Hypermarket on Day Two.
The PRIDE Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign was made possible by 3 main partners; Giant, KPJ Group of Hospitals and Carotino. Other supporting partners were Mary Kay (M) Sdn Bhd, Merck Sdn Bhd, Propharm (M) Sdn Bhd, Eau Claire Mineral Water SdnBhd, Cambert (M) Sdn Bhd, The Writer's Publishing House Sdn Bhd and OH! Health Magazine.
