Dear Climbers,
My best wishes to you. Hope you could make the summit smoothly.
Please record all your food intakes and any problems that you encounter
during the expedition. All this information will be useful for future
climbers especially Rene'e. As a breast cancer survivor, your data and info
are really important for other survivors. The information obtained from this
expedition will be a basic guideline for future breast cancer survivors.
So please keep track with what you do and what you eat.
I hope you have wonderful time during this expedition. I know it is hard and
difficult sometime, I'm sure you all can do it. All of you have the inner strength
and highly motivated. I m sure you can do your best. As a climber and researcher
during my UiTM Mount Everest Expedition 2004, I know the hardship of mountaineering.
Take control and be motivated at all time. The team members need to be encouraging
and supportive to each other. At high altitude, I know, you have mental disturbances
but with team work and inner strength, I'm sure you can over come it. Pray to Almighty at
all time. Keep Him in your mind and move forward. Your journey will be smooth and nice as the lovely snow.
Keep eating, and do not skip your food. Make sure drink plenty of fluids. Walk slowly,
no need to rush, the mountain will never go away. Ok then, my best wishes and please
conquer the mountain with PRIDE. I'm really proud to be in this team.

Dear climbers,
This greeting goes out to all climbers of PRIDE to Mount Aconcagua, wishing you guys a safe journey and successful climb in order to achieve your mission in putting across the message that breast cancer is although inevitable but 'fight-able' and beat-able.
Having a breast cancer survivor leading a team of 6 climbers highlights just the point of how strong a
person can be albeit the disease. Congratulations to PRIDE Foundation for organizing this climb.

I was in KL in November visiting my son, Tim and daughter-in -law, May, and really enjoyed taking part in the
Climb with PRIDE-Bkt Gasing. It was a real pleasure to meet you. I can't tell you how much I admire you. You're a
great lady and a wonderful ambassador for PRIDE. It will be a great challenge and I wish you and your companions a wonderful and exhilarating climb.
I'm sure May and Tim will keep me updated on your progress and who knows, your climb may prise me out of my
armchair for one more high altitude challenge! Good luck, Rene'e, I'll be thinking of you.

Due to work in Genting, I would not be able to be at KLIA for the Flag Off. But my sincerely wish you all the best for the expedition; may you be blessed with good health condition and strong determination till you reach the summit, and good weather that would make it a smoother journey while you are in Argentina.
You ought to know, all breast cancer survivors, their families and friends and whoever who know about your expedition are cheering for you! Even if not everyone from the team makes it to the summit, we know, you have attempted your best. And that is already good enough, because you would have shown the world that you are brave to fight against breast cancer, and live life to its fullest. Please, come home safely, everyone will be praying and keeping our fingers crossed to see you in February, the brave warriors of breast cancer and life.

Hi guys...
Hoping all of you will have safe journey to Aconcagua and back home. Proud of you guys for
having such a great courage to conquer the peak (emm... I'm still dreaming on the supposedly
Kinabalu 'Christmas' holiday. The least, I still get Zermatt!!!). Have fun. Take lots...
